You are delightfuly naive,no offence meant,it was 3 days "late" because he had to take legal advice

Would have taken a legal team three days to get me to change my original reaction to this load of shite too. Then another week for me to agree to that watered down but still strong message given.

Have read that, its excellent and was one of the reasons I quoted the bit about double jeopardy. This thread is a bit like signing Messi, one minute you think it's done and dusted and then somebody comments and it's like hes staying at Barca.
We can try for a deal with Emirates, they’re state owned but no fucks are given, plus we’re miles better than fucking Arsenal.
Turned it off, lol. Quickly realised why I’ve not had this shit on for the last 4 days.
try four years like me.

The same BBC who's Manchester football correspondent simple simon stones (united fan) blatantly lied on radio when asked who is is on the Regulatory Chamber said "its not in the public realm who the members are" when it cleared stated on the UEFA website
Simple Simon is utterly clueless. Heard him on 5 Live on Saturday morning & it was painful listening to him make it up as he went along.

Afraid he isn't - very amateurish by City to use an in-house journalist - if you don't believe this then just research credibility of source. Even in adverts washing up companies used to put actors in white overalls just for this - it works at an almost subliminal level . Same reason toothpaste ads feature actual dentists and not actors - it all adds to the credibility ... A neutral journalist would have been far better and it would have looked more like a proper interview than a speech or statement or just a friendly Q&A session between 2 buddies.
It wasn't aimed at the media,it was to calm fans, employees and investors,it is no time to engage with a journo as he couldn't answer their questions at this moment, what is wrong with you ffs

There's no obligation, but if the intention was the help shape the narrative and help counteract some of the absurd coverage of the past few days you're not getting that with an in-house interview. If the intention was a feel good message then sure, whatever. I think we should've done the former but maybe that wasn't really the goal here. Who knows
The media will come later,it's not about changing their narrative, they wouldn't take any notice, win and we can go after some of them later

This is going to explode!

Great statement but he’s basically just called UEFA out for lies. Which we all know they are.

I can’t see them just taking it though. Get ready blues more bollox coming our way very soon.

UEFA will be panicking, they are messing with the wrong people, proper professionals who will utilise all of their considerable resources to stop these repeated accusations and insinuations.

I was shocked last Friday, became cautiously optimistic over the weekend/start of this week due to reading a lot of good stuff on here. I’m now very reassured listening to the leaders of our club, they present as calm, reliable and trustworthy.

I know who I believe in.

Bring. It. On.

Anyone in here who does not believe that there is a media agenda should fuck off to RAWK or that shite United forum.

There is irrefutable evidence that the media in this country have it in for us and have done ever since the takeover.

Any self respecting journalist would be looking at the big picture of this scenario being the political battle between UEFA and City. Instead, they only want to know the anti-City slant.

The funny thing is how anyone with half a brain cell can criticise City over that interview, call it biased and take UEFAs side. Yet on the other hand, 100% believe the UEFA investigation which was carried out by UEFA, tried by UEFA and the judgement came from UEFA who have provided NO public evidence for their judgement.

But then again people like Rob Harris and that Delaney chap are not proper journalists. They’re frauds, mouthpieces for certain clubs, pushing an agenda.

They are to journalism what Harold Shipman is to doctors, or Ryan Giggs to families.

Absolutely nailed it daz.

As a non City supporter, I dont want you to win the CAS case (selfishly). I want that to fail and you take it up to the highest courts to get the rule scrapped and then go on to sue UEFA hopefully

I agree the need for Financial rules, but they shoyld exist to stop owners bleeding a club dry for their own profit, not pouring their own money into a club and also into a community.
