It's the right thing to do, I said it a while back -all these accusations that we're cooking our books are dragging a lot of third party organisations in.

Exactly. Auditors, sponsors you name it. But by going down this route it's clear that City aren't quite so keen on the negotiation path this time - it's complete rejection.

Even if they dont use the fake emails, could they investigate our ongoing sponsorship agreements and player contracts to "nail us". If we were circumventing the rules, presumably we still are (to some extent)? If they simply close down these "loopholes" (if they genuinely exist) would that affect our ongoing ability to comply with FFP?

I honestly don’t think there’s anything wrong with our sponsorship. My worry is that they’ll misinterpret just one instance of a “payment” to an agent as being illegal (when it was nothing more than any other club was doing at the time) and hit us for 6 with transfer bans & CL ban. All of which will be over the top & undeserved

Like I said I don't know for certain, but we follow the club, and I get the feeling everything at City is done above board, we're all sick of this but we must all turn up for Schalke and get behind the team. Some comments saying I won't give uefa a penny and not going to games hurts City and the team, let's get behind the team and show these bent bastards.
Correct, make a(nother) statement.

On the eve of an important League weekend & just b 4 the knockout game next week.

If I'm honest where there's money there's crime & both City & UEFA have been caught with there pants down.

I can see UEFA making these noises now & doing absolutely fuck all.

If anything it will be another fine & 12 month transfer ban

This will be completed in 3 months allowing City to appeal then smash the transfer market throwing 2 fingers at everyone.

I just can't see UEFA taking City on in court as to much baggage on both sides.

Can they throw City out of Europe????

Don't see this happening.

If I'm honest I would love to see our owner fuck them over but can only see us meeting them halfway.

If Something is going to happen & City will be ready with or without the ban.

Let's see what comes out of City.
So you are saying we’re criminals?
We’ll get a transfer ban?

Good grief

Unless I am mistaken that’s not what they’re investigating us for. That’s an FA issue.

I can imagine UEFA now, please Etihad or other sponsor can we come and look at your books to see blah blah blah...........................errm, how about no.

We negotiated last time, in the interests of putting a lid on it and moving on and fast-forward 5 years they've dug the same period up again. What's the point of negotiating an agreement that isn't worth the paper it's written on?

are uefa thick? when will they realise we city fans don't give a fuck about their poxy competition, we don't even care what division we are in ffs. so go ahead and do your worst cos you'll never, ever, break what we and our club have. this is no ordinary club with no ordinary fan base.

Maybe not just thick , but certainly without any idea of the feeling many City supporters have about them and their competition .

They are bent fuckers whose primary concern is money, and thus wish to lick the arses of their precious cartel clubs who fucking hate the idea of a " new kid on the block " destroying their their historical cash cow .

Cnuts united in greed.

Then we would go to CAS. I don't believe uefa have the best record there.
