My worry exactly. Everyone knows secretly that UEFA & FFP are both corrupt & are in place to stop our march to the top of Europe. However, it suits the rest of Europe to keep us out which is why the big 6 clubs have pushed UEFA into this action. Despite our protestations both on here & in public. Nobody believes or supports our claim

How can everyone know secretly?

If UEFA don't have the emails could the non cooperation be UEFA asking for them and us telling them to do one.

I'd say so. If I was being investigated by a "trade body" and same organisation had leaked info, briefed media and announced a decision against me, I would have no confidence with the second half of the process and sentencing. Why would I offer more info with the chance that an unfair process would continue and whatever I supplied would again be turned against me! I would want to be heard, hopefully, by a fair external arbiter! Equally I wouldn't be surprised if the same body became more pissed with me, cried fowl and upped the ante by hitting me with further charges of noncooperation.

Best tell the solicitors to give it a miss then because you 2 have already agreed its not getting overturned

UEFA will be laughed out of CAS, but the story will read as follows:

UEFA tried everything to bring to justice Manchester City F.C and their suspected non compliance with FFP. The ban and subsequent fine, we felt, was fair. We had and still believe we have concrete evidence

Public opinion will be: Bought their way out, again! Bent bastards. Corrupt. Even UEFA can’t stop them now!

You know that’s exactly how it will play. There will not be a headline that says Man City are innocent or an article that even considers entertaining the fact that we actually did fuck all wrong and that this was in fact a witch hunt.
Unless City take the gloves off, that's exactly how it will play out.

It's because disguised owner funding isn't allowed. If, as UEFA suggested, Etihad is a related party then even that is completely irrelevant. If it's not a related party then as long as the funding doesn't originate from ADUG then it is no business of theirs.
That's why it will most likely all end in a discussion of the nuances and differences between FFP and IAS 24.
Even if we win we will lose because the general public will still consider that we have cheated and have escaped on a technicality. The mud will stick.
The gloves have to come off and the treachery of senior figures at UEFA and it's G14 cartel members has to be exposed for what it is.
As things stand it's a win win situation for the cartel clubs. If UEFA wins then we are removed from the golden trough of cash. If we win, UEFA are so damaged that the cartel clubs will be able to break away because UEFA are not fit for purpose.

Haha Fortunately, our views are irrelevant. Unfortunately - so are all the optimistic ones on here! We can only have opinions based on what has happened so far???

This is just not my experience, the vast majority don't give a toss about it, you're just focussing on the small number on social media, and/or the extremely biased media trolls.

I work with fans of many other clubs, and none of them mention it.

UEFA - a law unto themselves. I don’t believe they need to prove the case. They’ve got the backing of the whole of Europe & they know it. They believe they’ve won because they’re arrogant. But unfortunately they make the rules - even if they move the goalposts when they want. This hasn’t ever been challenged so they continue to do it. None of the speculation on here convinces me that we’ll win - the system is too corrupt & the implications so dramatic.
I agree with this as long as they obey their own rules.
Hopefully CAS will determine whether their hubris and arrogance allows them to insist that we broke the rule(s ) and if so whether the punishment fits the crime.

Actually, that is the most sensible thing I've read for some time. We are so involved that we think everyone else is bothered. Guess many fans from other teams will look at the outcome (if it's favourable to us) and then move on
