Purely from memory but I think Sammy Lee said at the time it was his opinion only and not from inside knowledge?

Perhaps you didn't get my analogy, but that's exactly what I meant. UEFA can set all the rules they like, but if when challenged the rules are found to contravene EU law, the rules are destined for the dustbin.

i said the other week that i don't care about the ban and playing in europe ?????? but over the last 2 weeks the dirty scum media have done its job on manchester city

The UAE football association are at CAS later this week, the 12th, in a case vs the Qatar football association and the Asian football confederation.

The UAE have alleged that Qatar fielded ineligible players in the Asian cup which Qatar won.

It certainly doesn't sound like something we were expecting...

Assuming that Sam Lee or the people he spoke to knew more about it than the rest of us. And, judging by the success rate of positive "inside information" so far, that's very questionable.

I imagine it's a very high profile case in that part of the World, Qatar could be stripped of the cup. I'm interested how long it will take from the hearing to a verdict, I've read it could take at least several weeks.
