Strangely enough I was upstairs working from home when I posted that, I finished up at 9pm and came downstairs to find the wife watching The Voice and one of the contestants used it in the knockout rounds. That must be the first time I've heard it in decades, very eerie.

Pretty much the exact same thing with me mate, eerie indeed, must be this Coronavirus ;-).

Notice that the DM has an article about UEFA and FFP being relaxed , but with a mention that it will not affect City in their issue with UEFA .

They just can't resist , or I could just be too sensitive ?
You're being too sensitive.

Besides even if UEFA backed down and said 'all things considered we won't bother now', the damage would still be done. Unless present circumstances make City reconsider then they want to be exonerated, not excused.

I strongly agree with this.
City are innocent until proven innocent in my book...

If we get banned or it's overturned, they relax or scrap FFP then the good Sheikh will be able to outspend 99% of the fuckers.

Bring it on.

But he won't do that. He has a business plan for CFG and I doubt he would compromise it.
Maybe it will allow better rebuilding but I can't see a massive splurge.

I think he would do it in a sensible way. Ensuring dominance for the next decade by hoovering up all the best young talent

I was joking really, and I hope we drag the fuckers through the courts and sue them for reputational damages.

Not with the current oil price he won’t.

We are rumoured to be in for Glenn Murray this window
Jeez, couldn't you have at least used a spoiler tag? Or perhaps some Tolmie like random undecipherable music video, you've totally spoilt it for us now.

We wouldn't be "losing" the lower leagues. We'd just be reconfiguring the league system. They'd still be there but they wouldn't be national professional leagues.

And to show I'm a generous spirit in these troubled times, can I direct you to something that might be helpful. https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/stress-anxiety-depression/controlling-anger/

If you get like this over a discussion about League 2 then what would you be like if someone cut you up while you were driving.

That is the snippy post I was discussing and is uncalled for, probably beneath you as well but remember that when you come moaning about others, Colin.

Poor stuff.

I realise our case can't be resolved early in CAS as we had hoped, but reports in press now seem more centred on our players not leaving, rather than a CL ban not coming?

"Manchester City are confident that the threat of a Champions League ban will not spark a mass Etihad exodus. "
(Simon Mullock)

Fingers crossed :-)

Sure I’ve just read about Eric to Barca. They had to start somewhere.

I would want an extended contract right now if I was a player with under 3 years left.

Also if this year's CL never finishes it could be argued as 1 season "time served".
