Surely the proof would be the sponsorship funds entering Citys accounts. I've always thought this was what City deemed to be their irrefutable evidence.
But from where? If we can show sponsors paid in full, however they themselves were funded, we are free.
Would Khaldoon have been so adamant that our accounts were in order if the source in each case was not the sponsor?

Projectriver has indeed contributed honestly and I for one enjoy reading his take on things. But even he says most of his posts are his opinion. Khaldoon said, in the first instance, my view is that first, they go to CAS and if they do not overturn the ban there will be a second "instance". Only six more days to wait, then we can start another thread. I wonder what the title will be.
How about, "Cop that Harris and all you wankers"?

Remember Khaldoons words. "I only deal with facts". Therefore we must trust that the facts are irrefutable. Let us hope that everyone else only deals with facts.
You just know the usual suspects will spin it. If we win: "City got away with it on a technicality."
If we lose: "Ban those cheating bastards for ever"

It's the tone of the email extracts that make it appear "dodgy" and not the settlement of the legal obligation itself.

This was the part that was so striking to me. As someone who came up in financial services I was shocked to see what these guys were putting in writing. Since I was a first year analyst there are some things widely understood (and widely drilled into you) to be "please call me" matters, not spelled out in something that can be read by a lawyer later on.

And to be clear, nothing illegal or untoward was ever going on, it's just good practice.

Through out this whole ordeal it has been interesting to see from people outside of the city bubble claiming that UEFA are corrupt, shambles, etc except when it comes to this one decision to ban us for two years and it doesn't get questioned and is accepted as fact!!

It is hilarious hypocrisy.

Bang on, and is something I’ve taken great delight in telling clueless opposition fans on Twatter. Funny how none of them ever bother to respond!

Only hope it's .....

Any more news mate ? I’ve took this week off work and I can’t even relax for one minute lol

Not really mate, we just have to strap ourselves in.

Pep has another couple of games to be interviewed prior to next Monday, so he will continue to be an interesting watch, that's for sure.

I wonder if CAS will agree that we wasn't given a fair hearing and instuct UEFA to restart the case with the correct process being followed.
Meaning we wouldn't get any real answer come the 13th.

I feel exactly the same. I have read every single post on this thread. I have been persuaded we are going to win by some posts and persuaded we are going to lose by other posts. My gut feeling is the bastards will find some way to fuck us over. Truly hope I am wrong.

If it helps any, i feel the same.

I was also convinced we were going to get a 2 season transfer ban ahead of last summer.
