It says it all that Harris's tweets stress the importance of transparency should City be exonerated. I'd like to see transparency regardless of the outcome.

Since UEFA released a very brief statement announcing the ban there's been endless amounts of speculation, rumours and an overwhelming stream of negative media coverage. There has been a distinct lack of transparency throughout the whole process.

I hope Cheesman's information is spot on, I've met him a few times and he seems well intentioned and is a huge City fan so you'd hope he wouldn't go so public if it was just his gut feeling.

I'm neither pro or anti Cheeseman as I don't bother reading or watching his stuff. It does seem odd that he has a sufficiently high ranking source at the club that can tell him this huge information yet he is out on his arse and he can't get a press pass.

I hope he is right even if it is only a punt and if he is wrong then his credibility won't be too high up my list of concerns on Monday.

The fact are that Cheesie obviously has had a tip off from somebody he trusts, also not a squeak of a leak to the press about us being found guilty. The only way the media would get to know would from UEFA leak and theres nothing, they would have it all over the place and I see this a clear indication it not gone UEFA 's way !

Stating I've heard city have been exonerated is more of a safer bet than stating the opposite. I'd you go the other way you then have to substantiate it with either 2 year ban, 1 year ban, charged but suspended etc etc.

Both sides will know by now and you can't tell me that if the verdict is in UEFA's favour then they would've leaked it to a few hounds by now, the silence is deafening. I'm completely chilled about the whole thing and got my Cigar at the ready to light up come Monday morning :-)

We'll officially get nothing other than a result on Monday. Whether the fuller judgement gets released depends on the agreement of both parties but I'd guess there will have been things said in the hearing that City would prefer to keep quiet, particularly about the funding of Etihad.

Ceferin, on the other hand, may be quite happy for the details to be released as it would help him clean out the stables and establish more of a power base, if it could be seen just how corrupt some of the UEFA key figures and groups were.

Certainly previous things have a one-pager, and then something like a 30 page doc a few weeks later which broadly touches on the points of interest, and the opinions of the panel. I don't think we'll get anything beyond that for the reasons you give - City/UEFA won't want things made public. I wonder who at UEFA gets the say in this - the CFCB or Ceferin.

I thought (and may be wrong) that the 30-pager release was as much as anything to show what arguments were made, and how the panel viewed them - as much as anything for openness, rather than being a secret court.
