That's very harsh & I don't bother with anything he puts out. I know fuck all but if I did find out we had been exonerated I'd put it on here & join Twitter and put it on there too.

I'm not sure if he has just had a punt on this as bizarrely there is fuck all anywhere across the media one way or another. Hopefully he is right and he has been given solid information but if he hasn't so what?
If I heard and it was definite, I would too. However, neither you not I have been getting paid by City, get significant access to City, or have been representing the Club this season, have we?

He has appeared to use his contacts to big himself up in this instance. Much good may it do him.

I said NO REASON!

Can anybody at City count,

from the o/s match day

Champions League qualification incoming?
Qualify for next season's Champions League as quick as possible has been Pep's message since we returned from lockdown.

He might get his wish tonight.

Following Chelsea's 3-0 defeat to Sheffield United earlier today, a win would secure our place for next season's competition.

The thing that i keep coming back to is this, if we have lost the appeal and we know these rumours are out there would the club not put out a statement saying we are aware of the rumours but can confirm that they are incorrect and we will make a statement when CAS announce their findings?
Unless our hierarchy have been given early sight of the judgement, we wouldn't confirm that anything is correct or incorrect. I hope we have something lined up to see Der Spiegel and UEFA in the civil courts.

"If what we want to do on the pitch, we'll be allowed to do it next season."- What does he mean by this statement? Can anyone help me out?
My guess: “If we manage to qualify via league place.”

Feigned humility. ;-)

Yeah...his English isn’t 100% and it doesn’t make sense...and certainly doesn’t say what people seem to be interpreting it to mean, IMHO.

I get why many of us are so reluctant to let ourselves believe the arguably glaring positive signs. It's the hope that kills you and all, true enough. That same hope is also the thing with feathers, bloody let it in once in a while!

I'm all in now, after seeing pep's comment just there, game's a bogey for me, i've got enough to let go of any apprehension and join the 100% convinced club.

Basic isn’t it?

If, like you, he has some “normally reliable source,” he should have the stones to keep it to himself and not feel like he has to try to elevate himself by putting it out.

Oh, and it’s not really “news” until it is official. Right now, it’s some hanger-on “insider” saying he knows a secret.

I guess when City let him go, he felt he could get away with using the old sources and divulging information OTHERS should be announcing. But, a guy gotta eat, am I right??

It’s not a good look, ITK or not, especially given the gravity of the matter. Lost some respect from me, which won’t keep him up at nights, but I think a fair few feel the same way.
Why should he keep it to himself? He's a blue and wants to share the news with his fellow blues as I have. He's not a club employee so not bound by any requirement to maintain an embargo. Nothing he's done will change the outcome but obviously it won't be officially announced until Monday.

I think I switched off by the time we hit the green book.

I still have a PS form that I was given by Dr Lock. He punished me because (and I quote the text on the form)
‘For having a pen thrown at him’ - that’s right. Someone threw a pen at me and I got punished.

The work was to write an essay on whether the Roman legal system was more or less fair than the current British legal system.

I tore it up in his face. I then went to the art rooms and taped it back together before laminating it.

Ha ha ! I still have the letter inviting my parents to attend on the lower headmaster (or whatever he wss called) because therecwere worrying aspects of my behaviour about which they should know.

This followed me lighting a firework in the West Basement
