The French liked us twice - August 1914 and September, 1939. It lasted a short while. But it's mainly French politicians - some who would have Louis Umpteenth back on the throne whilst the rest would stroke the bollocks of the LIttle Corporal. Both camps were not very friendly to we Rosbifs! The French people I know, in the main, are rather pleasant folk.

Loads of murderers fans on the internet before the game bragging about having fake tickets for sale..lots of them bragging about jibbing in.
What the fuck did you think was going to happen ..moreso when Bingo was actively encouraging the feral bastards to go with or without tickets.
Hopefully the authorities ban the cunts and save all the hassle for normal match going fans.
I mean who wants to have to share a City with the lowlife twats that infest that fanbase.
I'm glad I'm not an Everton fan having to be in close proximity to the cunts every day.

This is what the investigation needs to look at. The scale of the fraud (40k fake tickets) doesn’t seem to point to individuals copying their own but possibly a failure of the turnstiles to identify fakes. The only complicated part of a ticket to copy is the QR code, which is just a barcode really, as the hologram can easily be reproduced, so the ticket should only work at a turnstile at a gate expecting the barcode ID. It could be someone has worked out how the stadium allocates codes to the gates (perhaps from a previous event) or it’s an internal/3rd party fraud issue sharing the codes.

Or it may just be that the fakes were being caught and the resulting chaos and pile up of fans meant individuals were simply jibbing in past stewards. This could be why we’re hearing stories of the number of operating turnstiles being reduced at gates from eg 13 to 2 to initially attempt to stop it, but seems it was impossible handle the numbers (fake and real) that had built up behind.

We saw it last summer at the Euro final and then on Saturday. Pissed up, coked up fucking idiots who spoil it for people who just want to enjoy the trip and game.
 
Report will probably say the dodgy tickets were made by Chelsea fans who went in disguise in an attempt to disgrace the spotless reputation of LFC.

UEFA will pay for a memorial at Anfield to all the people wrongly tear-gassed or pepper-sprayed; Liverpool will get a bye into the knock-out stages for 5 years, and anyone adversely affected will be able to claim compo from the City of Paris.

I worked with a fair few French on the ships, a good laugh and at least they stick up for their rights still.
