Is that a confirmed figure or guess work. Not seen anywhere suggesting how many were around the stadium on top of a capacity crowd. Where there 10k extra, more, less? And there are conflicting stories on the locals, we’re they the ones jibbing in or waiting outside to attack people or both. Estimates say around 1k locals were in and around the area so how does that stack up with all these additional fans. Locals aren’t taking the train. And whilst Madrid have now come out and said their fans had issues I haven’t seen them in two hour queues or being pepper sprayed plus they, in the main, it had been said were all in by the original kick off. The vast amount of the issues seemed to have been caused at one end of the ground by an excess of fans. When will the wall pushers accept they were in part to blame. I am not saying the French were blameless but some of their actions were caused by the actions of others. They caused trouble in Athens, Arsenal in the CL, Wembley this season and of course Heysel. The footage and evidence is there. It was even reported that they had removes season cards from fans for selling on tickets or having fakes for thus game yet everyone has conveniently forgotten.
