Sound the alarm - Our best players are aging fast!!!
We need to address this ASAP!!
We need to address this ASAP!!
Why the f*ck do we keep scoring own goals. The Rags milk the Pogba shite for weeks. We name Stones in our squad before we officially sign him !! Oh and no response from Everton, I hope the ink is dry on the contract.
Billy Smarts Circus or what.
But that would be amateurism on the part of UEFA, not us. We did we had to do to comply with rules and named the squad on time. Any leaking of that info was nothing to do with us. That's what you mean, right? Then why not make an announcement instead of $ky leading with the fact that he is named in the Uefa squad list. Sorry it smacks of amaturism, we never thought the squad details would be made public !!!

Here are the regulations:

From this I don't understand why Jason Denayer is on the squad list as by rule 43.11 he can go on the B Squad List as he's been on our books since season 2013 (so why waste an 'A' list spot):
"43.11 A player may be registered on List B if he is born on or after 1 January 1995 and has been eligible to play for the club concerned for any uninterrupted period of two years since his 15th birthday by the time he is registered with UEFA. Players aged 16 may be registered on List B if they have been registered with the participating club for the previous two years without interruption"
Especially as Squad list places would be required for Leroy Sané AND Oleksandr Zinchenko as they haven't been with us for 2 seasons (B List) or 3 seasons (A list).
Think the difference here is between a player being officially signed and registered with Uefa by last night's midnight deadline and then briefing the fuckwits in the press. I'm sure most people would agree that making sure the signing and registering him with Uefa on time for next week's qualifiers is more important than fannying about taking pictures and having a cosy chat with the Sly Sports.
In a word No. In more words, Uefa didn't leak anything. I am guessing but I assume City didn't want to announce the signing yesterday because of Carltons return to the Rags and they assumed the list was not readily available. It provides ammunition to the idiots, like Sly Sports, Talkshite Daily Mirror, Sun to have a go at us. I was hearing the news on BBC radio that we had named him in the Uefa squad before the club had announced him as a player. To me that is not best ever.
Ah I see. Well I think there was nothing untoward or any failing on our part, and in any case, I think its pretty cool that we didnt make a grand fuss, especially against the backdrop of the monumental borefest that was the Pogba saga over the road. I like that we just carried on as normal and did a publicity event in our own time. I look at it as pretty cool and classy, and businesslike, rather than anything amateur. Its definitely been done in our time and on our terms. In a word No. In more words, Uefa didn't leak anything. UEFA are to blame here, they should and could have just held off for a couple of hours
Indeed.I don't understand the fuss, I don't imagine we could name a player in our squad without all the paperwork completed, so clearly this deal had been done for a little while, just not announced.
That's far beyond the wit of many posters on the forumIndeed.
As it's been alluded to that the clubs may have delayed announcenent to allow Everton to sign a reasonable replacement without being shafted.
In the squad, fit, yet not playing. Galatasaray coach has said that he tried to bring him back to Turkey for the season but Denayer is happy under Guardiola so presumably he has some chance of playing, however it's very strange that he didn't get some time on the pitch against Arsenal. Hopefully he has a part to play this season as it looks like Mangala is on the way out and if Denayer goes we're left with 2 centre halves we can rely upon to stay fit.can anyone explain to me simply the situation of denayer before becoming mad ??
