Nah, the ECWC became the UEFA Cup, which is now the UEFA Europa League.Didn’t this used to be the European Cup Winners Cup ? When did it become “Super”
The "Super" Cup is a typical UEFA 1990's initiative, to have the UEFA Cup winner play the Champs League. i.e. pointless posturing.

I realised jus after I wrote it that it wasn’t. We won the Cup Winners Cup in 1970.
This is just a made up trophy.
