Anyone found any good routes for this one yet ?? Looking difficult for anything reasonably priced with it being Greece in the school holidays.

Any advice appreciated
It's right in the centre. On a main dual carriageway with palm trees in the middle. They play in green and white. A proper peoples club. Bit of a sleeping giant of a club I'd say. No connecting flights needed as its in Athens. If your in the centre its not more than a 40 minutes brisk walk

Edit. The pavements aren't very wide so its single file all the way up the slope from the main square. The gyros are excellent.

That's the Panathinaikos stadium mate, I've been to both.

The Karaiskakis Stadium we are playing at is in the port of Piraeus, home of Olympiacos (red and white stripes, same owner as Notts Forest). It's easily accessible via the Metro from the middle of Athens, but a good 8km or so away from the centre of the city. It'll be absolutely baking hot in the middle of August, the locals hibernate for the full month.

Ive been looking at Stanstead Tuesday 15th to Fri 18th both midday flights direct £279. Not booked yet but done hotel near Stanstead Monday night and 3 nights in Athens.Pain of a drive to Stanstead and back but flight times help.At least this one you can get a reasonable hotel within walking distance after the match.

Why is this not a tri-football match, contested by the CL, EL, and ECL winners, with three goals, each on the end of three equal wedges of a hexagonal pitch, each team trying to score on each other.

Now that would be primetime viewing!
