UEFA Youth League vs Sevilla, KO 5pm, Academy Stadium

So,so first 45......Roberts impressive if not a bit greedy......Alexi Garcia doing well, pulling strings and tidying up,Bryan is the pick for me - good vision and tenacity - a real midfield general.
Not so good from Manu Garcia, hardly in the game and will hopefully be replaced by Brahim.Id also bring Nmecha on for Thierry.

Where did we get our keeper?? he's a bit suspect for me.
I was a bit frustrated about Roberts a few times for being that greedy but when I saw that horrible pass from him to the center after that great one-two with Manu (?) I understood everything. :)

Also, it was a situation where he clearly should have used his right foot to put the pass in, he doesn't need to copy Robben in this particular segment. :)

Hi Hungarian Blue ... I have to disagree with you on Robert's pass to the center. There pass was on for the pull-back to the penalty spot, if any of the senior strikers had been there he'd have held his run for that pull-back. Ambrose ran straight into the goalmouth instead with both the keeper and a defender between him and the ball. There was no chance, ever, that Roberts could have got the ball to him where he was. Poor decision making by Ambrose.

It may just be me, but I don't think Viera is over great when it comes to tactics.

We've been very wasteful and lethargic.

Every time I watch our youth teams play we seem incredibly wasteful. Seem excellent on the ball, dominating most games and create plenty of chances but cant put it in the goal.

Aleix Garcia looked like the most gifted player in the first half before fading in the second. Way ahead of Manu Garcia for me, whom I'm yet to see control a game or do anything decisive at this level.

I thought Ambrose looked a bit off and hasn't returned to anywhere near his form before his injuries.

Everyone was else was ok and we do work well with the ball. Better finishing would've seen a comfortable win.
