UK far right trouble

I actually believe a lot of the people, if not the majority, who are out rioting are just opportunistic people who have just seen an opportunity to fuck shit up. It was the same in 2011. It started with a relatively peaceful march towards a police station because bloke was killed by a police officer, and then slowly things got out of hand, and suddenly the entire London (and other major cities) were on smashing shop, burning cars and looting. The rioting for most people had nothing to do with any particular cause. Just bored people looking for some fun and action.
Ironically it was almost this exact week in 2011. Just before the football comes back when the weather's hot and the kids are off. Get the football back on, get the kids back in school, pray for rain.

It’s outrageous seeing wankers pushing the police lines back in Middlesbrough and them breaking into hotels when the police are stood there. Starmer needs to get a grip of this quickly. People are going to be killed if this carries on.
I saw similar footage from Blackpool - police formed a cordon and after a bit of a stand off the 'protestors' clearly realised there was nothing else to do unless it kicked off. A few of the braver ones goaded the police line then it all just looked a bit embarrassing and pointless.
I'd like to think the policing is intelligence led, and they are quite deliberately denying the 'patriots' their Orgreave moment.

All down to education mate. Those who have it are able to think and even argue or disagree without getting abusive or robbing Gregg's.
People just digest headlines, tweets etc and jump onto whatever side they think is 'right' without any actual critical thinking.
All part of the general dumbing down of society that makes the poor into thugs and the uneducated 'liberals' into unthinking followers.
I think we e long since settled for consumerism over education sadly :-(
I curse the advent of social media. I'm aware posting that on here is ironic, but I don't consider BM social media in the conventional sense. And you're correct, the youth of today are being ever-constricted in what they digest and, moreover, what the algorithms "allow" them to digest. When I was younger I played video games, sure, but I also sat down and read a good book and went out to explore and socialise with friends; self-education and enrichment was forced upon the youth of my generation because doom-scrolling, mercifully, was an Orwellian dream at that point. X, TikTok, Instagram, even Facebook to an extent; they're all a cancer and it's high time those in positions of authority did something to restrict their influence.

Somebody will be along shortly to discuss how Yvette Cooper needs to be careful to describe this as "attempting to light a hotel on fire" instead of "lighting a hotel on fire" so as not to further inflame the rhetoric.
And to expand the description of the rioters to include looters that don’t necessarily hate minorities so might not be far right.

I'm fuming. I'm fuming as to why the same level of violence has not been handed out to these cunts as the striking miners & the Irish in Belfast - just fucking do it!

The police no longer have the numbers for a heavy handed approach.

Over the days and weeks a lot of the rioters will be arrested, charged and hopefully jailed.

There is other footage of this thick woman in the denim shorts being manhandled into a Police Van claiming she had done nothing. Instead of standing in a line taking bricks the Police should form snatch squads - get vans behind the front line then move in and isolate and arrest individuals then move out - they are being too passive. Alternatively fill the airwaves with film of people being arrested - preferably at places of work for ultimate shame and damage assuming they work

Its not all bad. Grannies keep in touch with their families over social media and so on - these events are a prime time to speak to Musk, Meta and the rest and tell them to shape up or fuck off.

I don't really like this account, I've blocked him previously.

But here is the scumbag who beat up the guy in Piccadilly Gardens yesterday.
