UK far right trouble

Christ. Woke up and saw the events from lastnight. Looks like you missed the part of man arrested close to vigil with knife. But it only seems to be reported on the independent. Maybe he had mental health issues. There is a statement on Merseyside police but no info apart from their age.

Based on what crap I've seen on social media common replies suggest it's a build up of anger regarding two tiered policing, the difference in reporting, the lack of info from the police/government/media

Did the media report the recent protests of the Muslim community throwing things at the police station as thugs? Did the police confront that group and the Harehills incidents with riot shields? Have the two police attackers from the airport been arrested yet?
Have any of the senior MPs come out to condemn those attackers at the airport or the following protests at the police station?

Maybe this could have been avoided by the politicians and media not 'managing' the information that they put out about recent stabbings. Then the mis information wouldn't have spread. People don't trust what is being reported so they start looking at alternative sources. It's only going to get worse with the capabilities of AI. Soon there will be fake videos of press statements!

All the media reports now calling them thugs just adds more fuel to the fire. The same if the senior MPs come out condemning the events lastnight after being silent when the airport CCTV camera out. Arresting people lastnight for attacking police but the two from the airport being out free is only going to make it worse.

Before anyone brands me a racist EDL thug I'm just trying to offer some balance here on a discussion forum based on what I've seen on social media.
You have really swallowed the Farage Kool-Aid.

Can you please tell me how police officers confronted those last night?

Riot shields? You understand they are largely to protect the officers.

I dont know why I bother.

'managing' information...i'll ask..how?

The Neanderthals' attacking police are so in the wrong but the outcry at the events last night have attracted more comments than the actual murder of these children by many of our members. A huge majority of people are struggling with the cultural change in the last twenty years.

it has been on the cards as people are struggling with the speed of cultural change in this country exasperated by the numerous terrorist attacks including attacks on children.

For a man to ask why has this been on the cards who lives in a City where 22 people were blown up at a concert is ignorant at best.
But the horrific attack in Southport and the riots last night have sod all to do with the Arena attack and even less to do with the specific kind of "cultural change" you're referring to. Even now, when it's been established that the attacker was born in Wales to parents from a Christian nation, you can't help bringing it all back to Muslims. They've had fuck all to do with anything that's happened in Southport in the last 48 hours and yet they're somehow the centre of it all. And don't come back with this shite about the riot only kicking off because of "an Arab with a machete" when a) the arrested man with the knife was over a mile away from the mosque attacked last night, and b) the riot had already been organised for 12 hours before the arrest was made. The mosque was attacked because a fake name and a fake identity had circled social media after originating from a computer in fucking India, and the coked-up Neanderthals (your word, not mine) who were out there last night decided they wanted a punch-up. The name Ali-Al Shakhati is still doing the rounds on Facebook when it's been confirmed for nearly 48 hours that it wasn't the attacker's name and that the attacker didn't arrive on a boat from Syria. Don't give me all this "legitimate concerns" bollocks when you know it doesn't apply here.

Balance = "explaining" why thugs are thugs.

2 riots in vastly different areas for different reasons in a month... I wish we could unite and rise up against the people who run this system/country. Divide and rule (identity politics included) only makes us weaker and plays right into the slave masters hands. It's about time we got together as we're all getting fucked over

Oh come on!
Cost of living crisis, immigration crisis, Housing crisis, Class crisis to name a few,
Does it justify riots, absolutely not especially after what happened on Monday.
But a lot of people are fed up of this country and our useless governments.
Does have shades of the early 80s but driven by hatred and social media more than anything, let’s hope the weather turns as if it stays hot I can see things escalating, personally I think parliament shouldn’t have a break this summer, many of the MPs are brand new anyway so don’t need a massive break, the country is a damn sight more important than any 6 week holiday. Everyone needs to get together and make some big ballsy decisions now because I think things are bubbling underneath, rightly or wrongly a lot driven by social media as well, Christ if I had my way I’d go down the China route and ban Twitter completely.

As a kid 40 years ago I used to walk around Moss Side, Rusholme, Levenshulme and Cheetham Hill, plenty of cultural differences then, and it was superb to see.

Next time you go to a hospital or nursing home see how many local whites are working there taking care of the sick and infirmed, not so many in my experience, we have to bring in people from all over the world to do so and then certain people in our society call them out and treat them like scum, shame on them.
I would also add after leaving school in a decent area of south Manchester, I went to Openshaw Technical college, I was one of a handful of white guys attending, mainly black, Indian, Pakistani, Iranian, Jewish and Chinese, it was one of the best periods of my life.

I learnt new cultures, music, customs, food etc, made some wonderful friend's and never, EVER felt any issues.

Look online.
That’s the problem.
Knuckleheads believe any old shit that suits their narrative then repost their bile on here.
the main root cause of the problem is social media which is doing exactly what is designed to do, it is a master of confirmation bias, if you have an opinion or a thought it will do its utmost to confirm that you are right by feeding you shite on top of shite with zero thought as to whether it is true until you feel emboldened that your bullshit is true and that your notion is definitely right, the world would be a far better place if the whole damn lot was shut down.
