UK far right trouble

I do think the police approach needs to be questioned. In Southend and Leeds they seemed to stand off completely, from people rioting. Where as last night I’ve seen videos of bystanders/ people walking through being arrested.

Obviously if you’re causing trouble or violence you deserve to be arrested and every situation is different, but the police approach seems to be a bit all over the place.

It wasn't as simple as the police ran away from the Muslim rioters - as the far fight have said.

Not everyone in the police is riot trained. They probably didn't have the numbers to do deal with the amount of people.

There also might have been a possiblity of being surrounded so they fell back to a safer point.

Didn't exactly stop the away fixture happening later on did it?
Fine example of the subtle wry humour to add to the list of "what England's given to the world."

Don't forget queues, double-decker buses and HP sauce (see my post above on Orwell's essay.)

What the various riots over the weeks have shown is that social media needs regulating.

Lies shouldn't go unpunished.

That goes for the companies themselves and those who helped spread and seed them.

The likes of Farage, Tommy Robinson and the lawyer for the police attackers should be done for deliberately lying and incitement.
No idea how you accomplish that mate we can’t stop 12 year olds watching hard core porn

I couldn't understand that either.
He is 18 in a few days though and I wonder if things will then change, or is when the offense was committed the overriding factor?
The press will have his name after today.
But as soon as he hits 18, that's it. People think the last few of days has been crazy online, it'll turn into an absolute frenzy online everywhere.
