Scotland has less significance to the UK than the North West economically, culturally and in population terms so why should it have so much more say over the laws for the people who live there? They need to get an ultimatum, either fall in line and accept UK laws to the same extent other regions do including the dissolving of any Scottish parliament or they get expelled from the union with no trade deal and the installation of a hard border. Regardless of the specifics of this issue, I'm sick and tired of the time and financial costs our country suffers to accommodate a relatively insignificant region.

It's not just disgusting, it's illegal. A bunch of Muslim extremist protesters were arrested for basically having the same sort of sign. It's inciting violence.

Posted on here a couple of weeks ago, that it was unfortunate people poured so much political attention on a tiny group of individuals. That it had become normal to bring them up to play the most divisive sort of UK politics, ridiculous at a time when our country faces so many serious issues.

Sturgeon has now gone the whole hog and put them in the firing line for the whole of Scottish/UK/English political relations.

I can't let the Tories escape without criticism either. They identified this as a politically profitable issue for them several years ago, and signalled their intent to exploit it.

Everyone deserves respect and humane compassion. I hope people remember that when thinking about the people who this bill would affect.

I don't have any answers as to what is right here. I just know this whole treatment of the situation is wrong.
