they need rid of Khan though, on a different note.
Khan disproves a lot of far right theories that Muslim's do not try to integrate into western society. They don't look upon Khan as a working class son of a bus driver, they see him as representing a religion. Everything is channelled through that prism, where as nothing shows that integration is possible by becoming Mayor of one of the most important cities on the planet. I am far more impressed that he is the son of a working class bus driver myself but that is because i look at society based on class rather than other factors. Khan is also a convenient scapegoat for the failures of Conservatism in the capital, he gets the blame for Tory failure just as Tory failure will be attempted to be attached to our Andy Burnham. I have always thought that Osborne as much as i do admire him as a political strategist made a huge mistake in promoting metro mayors, there were supposed to be the ones who took the blame and deflected the flak away from Tory failure but what they have done is highlight it.Why?
