UKIP

I'd love to know what he's a doctor of, because he doesn't mention it on his own Twitter profile. He claims to be a motivational and inspirational speaker. Is he a doctor or a "doctor" like "Dr" Gillian McKeith?

He also lists 'author' as one of his jobs, presumably on account of this very professional-looking book from 20 years ago.

He also claims to be a broadcaster. His IMDB page lists one credit as himself being interviewed for a programme about supernatural visions.

Just had a quick research and it turns out he has a PhD from Canon University in Florida, a religious institution so prestigious, it doesn't even have a wikipedia page and boasts on its website that it is not governed by the US Department of Education, although it "meets or exceeds the department's criteria." Presumably according to their own judgement.

Ukip should stand as a warning to other single issue nationalists that once you achieve your goal you become instantly irrelevant.

Khan disproves a lot of far right theories that Muslim's do not try to integrate into western society. They don't look upon Khan as a working class son of a bus driver, they see him as representing a religion. Everything is channelled through that prism, where as nothing shows that integration is possible by becoming Mayor of one of the most important cities on the planet. I am far more impressed that he is the son of a working class bus driver myself but that is because i look at society based on class rather than other factors. Khan is also a convenient scapegoat for the failures of Conservatism in the capital, he gets the blame for Tory failure just as Tory failure will be attempted to be attached to our Andy Burnham. I have always thought that Osborne as much as i do admire him as a political strategist made a huge mistake in promoting metro mayors, there were supposed to be the ones who took the blame and deflected the flak away from Tory failure but what they have done is highlight it.

Put his name into YouTube out of curiosity and besides the religious TV network appearances there are a few interesting things that stand out. He seems to have been touring the church circuits as a rent-a-preacher- from working for one Church in Newport in The Isle of Wight affiliated with a group called "full gospel businessman" and practicing healing touch and speaking in tongues. He then pops up working for a church in Slovakia named Milosť Žilina" preaching the prosperity doctrine and trying to elicit donations of between 500-1000 euros as an act of faith. He is also a fan of calling Muslim women letterboxes.

Seems to be the archetypal charismatic bull-shitter as the below link contains lots of wild claims that were easily debunked. He also seems to have a propensity to reinvent himself and the master of playing to his audience.

He had a short-lived career as a popstar releasing just one single in 1988, featuring a cameo from Cliff Richard.

If there's such a thing as dog-whistle Antivaxx, then that's exactly what I expect from this lot now.

And grifting.

Lots and lots of grifting.
