Un-Employed

:)

I class myself as employed due to the high level commitment I show managing a football club on Football Manager....

Laying Horse Racing,Football and Rugby League on Betfair not worked for 18 months. I just love it, wife still working but I earn more, she can't understand why she cannot retire (Got to have a steady income coming in). Can be a bit nerve jangling and you do get a set back now and again. But if you are confident in your knowledge of sport it can and is lucrative.

i didnt have a job for a month a couple of years back i just went on runs everyday and took the dog on long walks it was brilliant

Its been good to have an enforced career break but I'm delighted that I've landed a decent job and will soon have more money in the bank again

Jobsite worked best for me in the end

You are but the dole office don't like it. And finding voluntary work is hard to find, many organisations are having funding cut so may well fold, big society my arse.

Organisations getting Volunteers off the pay roll is a big step.

Sad times.

im on the sick at the minute waiting for an operation on my knee and i am bored shitless, how the fck these dole dossers that dont want to work do this all day every day is beyond me

I had been out of work for a few months then recently just got back into work roofing really enjoying being back in work and the banter and all that then all of a sudden i get an perianal abcess the size of a fookin tennis ball, had to have an op and stay in and now go clinic every single day to have the wound packed for 3 weeks so back out of work again back to bargin hunt, deal or no deal and my saviour football manager and soccer manager oh and bluemoon of course.

I was recently made redundant, and my last day of employment was the 9th of March, and then I was on a months garden leave.
I go stir crazy, even though I'm actually on a months paid leave, I need to work. I could never be a layabout on the dole.
Apart from the fact that I need something to keep me occupied, it's degrading to deliberately seek to avoid employment.

My goal was to get a job before I received my redundancy, so that I could use my redundancy pay to do some work in the house, and luckily I was offered a role yesterday.

I get fed up of applying for job after job, and I'm a firm believer that some of the jobs advertised don't even exist, and that they are just there for agencies to collect C.V.'s

Anyway, a job is sorted, so my time sat scrolling through Bluemoon in the daytime will soon be limited

Anyone Here Un-Employed And what do you do to Pass the time? Gets pretty boring at times .

Its nice having stepped off off the ratrace for a while and having a career break

My redundancy money has transformed our financial situation - no mortgage, no debt and we've invested in a couple of things that will save a shedload of money like a new bathroom - shower rather than bath and a new condenser boiler.

I sometimes go out for walks armed with my mobile satnav and information from this website ...

I also play games on my computer and spend time keeping my software and systems engineering skills up to data.

I've had mental health problems for a couple of years now so getting my head unscrambled is my priority.
