Unable to Watch City on TV in Big Matches

I could have gone tomorrow, but only in the rag area.

Been to the last 3 derbies on similar terms, but this one isn't the same.

I want to reserve the right to go absolutely fucking mental when we score.

never have seen a match in person, but I see them all live on tv, I get awfully nervous. shout, cuss, loss of sleep, the works.

the title sum me up tbh, when it comes to big matches, eg united, chelsea whatever. i shiver as if i'm really cold, and find it uncomfortable to watch city, as i am so nervous when watching them. i have to find something else to do to occupy myself. like for the 1st leg, i had to stop myself watching and having a nervous breakdown, so i did revision for about 2 hrs.

some of you might think i'm just daft and possibly not a true fan, but its the truth, and thats what happens.

anyone else do the same?

Get a grip FFS thats what its all about.

nah mate your thinking of the hokey pokey :)

I have to watch the game, even if i miss the game and i know we have lost i still will watch the extended hi-lights.

Like the day after when i have been to the game i will rewatch the game that i recored.

Win loose or draw there is nowt better than watching city!!!

Come on you blues!!!

I too suffer from Nerves, Stress, Anxiety and Depression at times. I was off work with the illness when the takeover happened which is when I joined Bluemoon for the first time.

I could never not watch City though. The importance of the Match plays rare tricks on your emotions. I posted something similar to this earlier today on the " Anybody got a bad feeling about the Match " thread.

In every Game since Sven first bought some decent players I have expected City to win. Even if we were away at Chelsea, Derby's etc. Cup matches are totally different. On Sunday at Scunthorpe at 3 -1 up if I had been offered a Replay I would have snatched your hand off. Every Cup Match I feel we will lose.

Emotionally if I am at Eastlands I watch the Game intently and almost silently, with eruptions of Joy if we score. In front of the TV at Home I will be very critical of players and tactics. In a Match of this importance all self control will be lost. Last week for instance on a foul on Bellamy I shouted out " Dont F--k with my Fiery Welsh Dragon" at the TV. I expect tonight to be much worse.
