Wow-some deep stuff there boys!

My opinion, feelings and misgivings towards MH are pretty much the same as yours ManCityFC.
I refer back to my original post in that I still say that he will eventually be found out and a "marquee" manager in the style of Mourinho,Hiddink etc.will be appointed by ADUG.
I take no pleasure in saying that-it's the same thing that happened when Allardyce recently took over at Blackburn. It's "his" style of club.Small, low expectations, limited budget-but fat sam excels in that situation. It's his "level."He's already looking to bring in runts he's managed before like Diouf-because he knows he'll fit "his" style of long-ball shite football. He feels "comfortable" managing this type of player.
Close similarities to MH with Bellamy(One of the first players he tried to sign when he joined City, apparently) I wonder?
Sam tried to recreate the same "boot camp" philosophy he had at Bolton at Newcastle where the expectations(rightly or wrongly)are higher, the "brand" of football played prettier, the media blades sharper, the fan pressure 24hr-and he sunk without a trace.

I see similarities with MH at City,to be honest.

In the meantime, all you can do is back the team and whoever ends up playing in the shirt and hope that we are both entirely, utterly wrong and be big enough to hold up your hands if we are.I'll be glad too
.

There is no meantime for me it is all the time

If you're going to create a post that slags City fans in the title
at least make sure you use the right words;

magâ‹…nanâ‹…iâ‹…mous
–adjective
1. generous in forgiving an insult or injury; free from petty resentfulness or vindictiveness: to be magnanimous toward one's enemies.
2. high-minded; noble: a just and magnanimous ruler.
3. proceeding from or revealing generosity or nobility of mind, character, etc.: a magnanimous gesture of forgiveness.

I'll be magnanimous and forgive the insult ;)

"Generous in forgiving an insult or injury" I don't personally think that is too far of the mark....do you?

I have been in support of Hughes up till now and thought he deserved his chance at least until the summer until he got his players in. But fuck that if he is trying to sign players such as Bellend/parker/RSC for stupid prices then no. We are the richest club in the world + a world wide recession with clubs in serious financial trouble. Its not just our position and the fact that its january but Hughes pulling power/comfort zome game plan. Need a higher profile manager with bigger balls. ADUG have been to generous to Hughes and its time to get in a better man.

am sick and tired of the Unambitious, Magnanimous, Docile, Lemming-Like Fans that support this great club with me.

I think fans are addicted to having limited expectations.

Brilliant post. You've collected all your thoughts, structured it well and who cares how many times it's been said before, this was an educated and sensible post which makes a change tbh.

Hughes out now, before it's too late please...

LOL nice try slick, however, the word does not fit the context of your
original post in any way and clearly stands out as the odd word in your
title. Got to give you credit for the attempted recovery though. Perhaps
you should add erudite to the title as well :-D

in reply to the OP.

Finding it difficult accepting that other people have differing viewpoints from yourself is an immature trait. Many people on this board are open minded. Many think very carefully, and discuss at great length about their take on the management of the club that we all love so much. Your post is a crass insult to all of them. It suggests you place a very low value on other people's opinions, perhaps you don't really want to engage in a discussion, and the only way you can justify your own standpoint is by devaluing everyone else.

Cheers,

B
