FFS, some of the shite spouted about Hughes is unbelievable. I was as 'Hughes in' as it gets, but the last time I checked, he didnt cure anyone of leprosy, walk on water or feed 5000 people with a couple of loaves of bread and some fish. What he did do is have a team of expensively assembled stars playing like they hadnt fucking met each other.

Those 'journalists' were a complete pack of wankers. Most of them will have been printing negative stuff about Hughes for months. They change their opinions to suit the angle of the story they want to write, they don't care if it's true. Look at all the bollocks about Mancini being at the ground on Saturday. i was 'hughes in', but only in the best interests of the club, which i believed was continuity of manager at least until the end of the season. this hasn't happened due to the high expectations of the owners, so be it. i'm right behind mancini's reign now and i think he's got the personality to take us to what's expected of the owners.
as for hughes, he's personally probably a bit pissed off, but so what? he's not part of city now so i don't care how he feels. hard done by? bollocks to that, wish i was given the brush off from my job with a multi million pound payout.

Makes me wonder if the journos are actually jealous. Hardly any of them are city fans and they must have been very happy seeing us concede 3 goals per game and giving away 2 goal leads.
