Uncut magazine - Top 500 albums of the 80's

Synchronicity by Police or Momentarily Lapse of reason by Floyd, not even in the top 500..!
And if compilations are included, no Legend by Bob Marley.

This list was compiled by the Felt fan club of the 80s. As you can see, they didn't just like Felt.

My hot takes following a quick look.

Closer is the greatest album ever made, so good to see it up there.
Queen is Dead isn’t even the best Smiths album. In fact, it’s possibly their weakest.
Good to see solid recognition of The Fall
Two glaring omissions are OMDs ‘Dazzleships’ and Neil Young’s ‘Ragged Glory’

some Springsteen albums yet no Born To Run?

Goodbye Yellow Brick Road? Not a single Elton John album

no Innervisions

no Counting Crows

By The Way RHCP

no Manics

No Amy Winehouse

...utter fkn wank
