Underated City Players

Alan Oakes very rarely gets a mention on the Board. In recent times Kevin Horlock and Paul Bosveldt. Horlock was a lovely player yet was completely without pace and Paul Bosveldt who came at a ripe old age for a final payday and found himself back in the Dutch squad.

Good shout about Alan Oaks, has he got the record for the most games played?

Always thought Wanchope was underrated.

But for his injuries I reckon he could have been a city legend.

Glyn Pardoe. From being our youngest ever debutant he had a wonderful playing career with us that was tragically cut short by a dreadful tackle from Best. As a coach with the youth teams he had a massive contribution in the development of other youngsters. (White, Lake etc), only to be disgracefully sacked by Swales/Reid.

agreed, I remember at the end of the first season at CoMS when he came in towards the end and scored some important goals but then didn't want to stay (or KK didn't want him).

also think caicedo isn't as bad as some people make out. think he will be a good player in the future but looks like hes on his way to sporting lisbon
