It's sad really. Trying to block the development of facilities that will benefit the local community no end. Educational facilities for talented young people. Job creation for the unemployed, helping families. Not to mention great prospects for the English national team in a generation. You have to take bitterness, jealousy and spite to a whole new level to want to stand in the way of that.
