Martial apparently kicking up a stink. Journalists seem to think he's changed his Facebook page to images of him in the number 9.

Out of the volatile characters over there now, I didn't think for a minute this kid would be the first to kick off. Fucking lol.

Apparently its because he has copyrighted his brand this week 'AM9', United never informed him that they were taking his number off him. Hahaha, what a way to treat your best outfield player last season.

Brilliant. If I'm being honest, Martial annoyed me last season. He came across as a likeable lad who showed patches of potential. Didn't seem like a rag character.

This is funny as fuck though.

He's the one player I don't mind for them, going to great player, hopefully not for them after all this!
 
Honestly,he seems to really love the *9,and he posted a few pictures today that clearly showed the 9 on his back,he may be a left winger now,but he clearly cares about the number and thats really fucking amateur by United....im not complaining though
 
Wenger needs to dash a bid in. Arsenal weren't slow to throw a bid over to Liverpool during the Suarez saga, they ought to take advantage of this. After all, Martial might welcome an approach by Wenger. CL, French contingency, follow the footsteps of Henry, promised central role...

I ran a trademark check, and yes he through a French firm did buy a trademark on 12 July, under Class 25 which is mainly merchandising. Trademarks are cheap unless he had to buy the exact Class25 TM from someone else. He has every right to be pissed if somewhere in an Asian factory there are thousands of snapbacks and overlong tshirts with am9 on them.

It being registered until 2025 also points to him favouring 9 as a long term brand
