So far this season reminds me of 2011/12 with City and United looking like the teams who will be fighting out the title with them garnering the bulk of the headlines.
If we scored 3 they'd get 4 but then came the Derby at Old Trafford..

So far they've played ok against 2 teams who played scared like they were losing 5-0 already.

Is this assessment being made after 3 games played between us?

Obviously he's good enough for our squad, but after seeing clips of him since moving to the rags I don't get the impression Pogba's personality wouldn't have fit at our club nowadays. Bit like Balotelli but more egotistical - too interested in all the flashiness round the game, celeb lifestyle etc. rather than being totally focussed professional. He's clearly determined to be the best he can be but professionalism makes the difference in actually achieving it.

It's like bobbleheads over there with the egos of Mourinho, Zlatan and Pogba.

Unfortunately, the result wasn't in doubt tonight. Big nose is an aerial threat, not so sure on the floor now with the 35 year old legs. On the pitch, Pogba looked the part. As said above, not so much personality.

Aside from that, not much to worry about.

Although, with that said, I certainly think they'll be up there this season. Cunts.

They looked pretty good to be fair. Bailly, Pogba and Ibrahimovic give them a lot more physical presence. Early days, of course, but it looks like they'll be one of our main rivals for the title. On the plus side, an average Southampton side were able to create a fair few chances that a better team may have converted.

It'll be interesting when we go there in a few weeks. Physically they're much bigger and will be a real threat on set pieces, but they could struggle with our movement.

Southampton won't be. Bournemouth and Southampton is not a tricky start. It's too early to tell yet. Shaw coming back will be a boost for them.

I still think keeping De Gea was their best transfer business in the last 2 years.
