Man U remind me of us when we just got taken over, buying over priced players who were available who are more of a stop gap or a square peg in a round hole..

For example - Pogba, he isnt worth half the amount they paid and he is a liabiliy in a two man midfield... why not buy Kante???

One small indisgression on redcafe and I have been banned for all eternity*, yet we seem to be much more lenient with Utd. fans who come on here.

I propose an amnesty: lets un-ban any rags who have over-stepped the line here and give them another chance to be civil, IF they show some flexibility on their website to me and people like me.

*There seems to be some sort of tracker that spots your i.p. address and kicks you out even if you try and re-register under a new name/new e-mail.

Yes, the trouble with redcafe: it's very 'automated'. If I'd been warned and then banned (by a moderator,) or even just banned with a message explaining why, fair enough, but it is as if their system does it technologically and that seems harsh. I have written to Theresa May 'cos I think it contravenes my human rights, but I think she is too busy to do anything about it, right now :(

United fan here. I would be the first to admit that you outclassed us yesterday. Mourinho got his team selection and tactics wrong. In the 2nd half we looked better and pressed really high up the park, and that caused you to maker errors and give the ball away. We should of done that in the 1st half. Pep has really brought well in the market, and has got players what match his style of play perfectly. Good luck for the rest of the season. Until we meet at the Etihad in the return fixture. Honest question. Was the 2nd half really that a revelation or did it not not remind you of van gaal's philosophy? I.e. With better possession and long ball to your big lads but no end result? I mean, yeah you did press high up the park, but end of the day there wasn't a shot on goal (other than that offside call which made it not register in the stats). The only 3 shots on goal you had were in the last 5 minutes of the 1st half. 1) The bravo/stones clanger, 2) the header straight to bravo, and 3) the toe poke that stones handled.

To be honest, I thought we were still on top in the 2nd half because we changed tactics in response to your subs. It's textbook pep (Pep Confidential book covers this is great lengths). We had KdB shot hit the post and 2 shots heading to your goal if not for the acrobatic saves of your keeper. It can be argued you finally got close to our goal, but we did the same if not more in the 2nd half as well there were times that our break outnumbered your defending only for us to play it around outside the box because we didn't have a striker.

I'm just not convinced you played better in the 2nd half. you certainly bombed us with waves of balls, but didn't you used to do this last season anyway?

Is it just me who possibly see's the rags main two signings pogba and big nose more as commercial/cosmetic signings rather than proper football signings to fit in with a team,more to do with high profile publicity money making like shirt sales and other merchandise and other revenue's.And keeping them relevant in media terms the brand comes first..

Those two were signed to keep people interested until the next batch of world-beating kids comes from their youth set up.
