Interesting piece. Some good insight on Jose. Could easily be sacked by Christmas, maybe even earlier. Another severance package the rags are going to pay, wonderful. I would love to see him stay until the end of the season and get sacked when they finish 5th or worse but can't see that happening now.

The rags are playing terrible, they are playing like a club battling to stay up and its not the players because they do have some quality, enough for mid-table. Something is very wrong there behind the scenes. This season the water started boiling in preseason already so its understandable there will be an earlier explosion. Maybe something like losing 4-1 away to Liverpool in October will do the trick.

In the derby the scoreline clearly flattered them and Bournemouth today were more dangerous.

Maybe Watford make it 3 defeats in a row tomorrow!

I doubt PEG will be sacked before qualification for the CL is impossible, just as gollum and TT were, though if something goes spectacularly wrong we could see it happen earlier, I suppose.

I'm not going to get carried away because they lost two games, one against the best team in the league and the other in a competition they obviously don't give a shit about. If they win tomorrow, they're in 3rd, 3 points behind us. Hardly a disaster.

They have loads of expensive players and youth players(according to them) yet they still play like Everton under Moyes and we play like Barca - they fucking hate it!!!

It's particularly funny because last season was the second time that we finished above them on goal difference, and that's basically confirmation that we play better football.

I think Liverpool will finish above them this year. There is nothing in that United side that would scare me. They look one dimensional under a manager who seems to have run his course, and looked like he lost the plot when sacked at Real Madrid.

Hoof ball tactics when nothing is going their way seems the plan. What did they expect when they got second best, because United wanted Pep first and foremost.p and when they couldn't get him they denied they were ever in for him. And then they went for mourinho but without a last ditch effort to try and tap up Pochettino from Spurs.

They are the new Liverpool, past glories don't cut it, so go and drink from the same table as AC Milan. Top four finish not for me. I reckon 5th place at best on the showings so far.

Only if they drop another 10 points inside 7-8 matches does it start looking serious. They still nick wins, and Ibrahimovic will continue to dig them out of trouble.
