I really didn't get the impression that the rags were desperate to get him, it looked like he was all they were left with after everyone else had turned them down. If they were both so desperate it wouldn't have taken as long as it did to sort out, he was clearly desperate to go there but we know some people on the board are not fans of his at all. They had to name a fucking stand after Charlton to get him to agree to it (allegedly)
Bobby Charlton will have his knife out any minute now.

The thing with these dregs is that they constantly get lucky breaks, they are spawny so we can't write them off, they will inevitable get the breaks tomorrow so we can't write them off.
This all day. They get the breaks, the dodgy decisions, the defensive fuck ups. In fact they get so many they expect them; almost like it's one of their tactics.
The problem is the opponents and the officials know they get them. Hence the defensive fuck ups from opponents and poor decisions from officials.
It's not all dodgy penalties etc, just the constant drip, drip, drip of cowardice as we saw with Shrek's five yellow card offences before his solitary booking last week, and the lack of a second card for the foul language that followed.
They don't get the rub of the green on every occasion, but sufficiently often to generate quite a few points over the course of a season.

I'm not going to get carried away because they lost two games, one against the best team in the league and the other in a competition they obviously don't give a shit about. If they win tomorrow, they're in 3rd, 3 points behind us. Hardly a disaster.

Exactly, Watford will probably roll over and the 12th Man will be in fabulous form.

At the end of MOTD its reported that Rashford is being offered a new contract - just over 3 months since his last one?

And Maureen wants Sanchez from the Arse- like Wenger would sell to them and like he'd go and tie up his Thursday nights.............. more realistic than Bale though.

I think Liverpool will finish above them this year. There is nothing in that United side that would scare me. They look one dimensional under a manager who seems to have run his course, and looked like he lost the plot when sacked at Real Madrid.

Hoof ball tactics when nothing is going their way seems the plan. What did they expect when they got second best, because United wanted Pep first and foremost.p and when they couldn't get him they denied they were ever in for him. And then they went for mourinho but without a last ditch effort to try and tap up Pochettino from Spurs.

They are the new Liverpool, past glories don't cut it, so go and drink from the same table as AC Milan. Top four finish not for me. I reckon 5th place at best on the showings so far.

They missed a trick with Pochettino, but the 'odious one' and them are a match made in heaven.

Didn't they say Pep wanted Sanchez?
