Very early days yet but it seems yet again they're making the same mistakes as a club. They seem to lack any real direction or strategy particularly in the transfer market. Pogba, Mkhitryan and Ibrahimovic may well be great players but that does not mean they will suit United or a particular way of playing. What is their way of playing? You can argue a similar point when they got in Mourinho. It's as if they thought he's managed in the premier league, he's high profile and he'll please the fans so he'll do. In their last four games they do not look like a typical Mourinho team in the slightest. It's a shambles.

As I say it may yet click for them but I am enjoying these woeful, disjointed performances that are virtually the same as the ones under Moyes and Van Gaal. Hopefully it continues!
 
This is the year they are finished as a top club. No way they are going to come close to qualifying for the champions league and the fallout will be tremendous:

They will lose 30% (22.5 million) of their kit deal. For a team with such a high wage bill that's really going to hurt.

No champions league money.

I think this is the season all those plastic fans are going to give up. Three years of crap left them gloomy. Mourinho and Pogba gave them some hope. But now they have are going to have another year of watching an awful side and no light at the end of the tunnel.

The way they are playing can't see any top player wanting to play for them especially with no champs league and their current squad is so poor they need another infusion of players.

Won't be able to shift any of their old players on huge wages.
