Manchester United are preparing a €65m (£54m) bid to sign Colombian midfielder James Rodriguez, according to IBTimes this morning.
Rodriguez' agent Jorge Mendes and United's chief executive Ed Woodward have reportedly had a meeting last week in which Woodward 'promised' to make a bid in the next few days.
The Colombian midfielder is said to be unhappy at Real Madrid, and after only making 17 starts last season, he could be on his way out of the Bernabeu.

It's like on of their lot comparing Mata to Silva or Carrick to Toure!
I think its close, two good goalies but I think you seem to suggest that we have in Joe Hart a shit one.
4 Golden Glove in the last 7 years would suggest we have in Joe a top keeper in spite of playing behind a defense organised by Audrey Roberts for 3 years.
while De Gea has had a team organised by Van Gaal in front of him dedicated to not conceding at the expense of attacking flair.
