They're all goldfish on this station. Earlier today.

Perry Groves - "Which team that has won the FA Cup, in the last ten years, will be playing in the 1st round.
Cogs whirring....
Bob Mills - "Portsmouth".
Perry Groves - "Correct. Who scored the winning goal in their final V Cardiff".
Jim White - "Kanu. But WHO did they beat in the final".

Did he get it right?

Has anyone else noticed the rags in the pub phenomenom? How when you are in the pub and they are on the box, if they get beat within 30 seconds of that final whisle they are nowhere to be seen. Gone as if by magic. When I lived in the Manchester area I often used to laugh when this happened, but even here in the wild plains of South Cheshire the same thing happens. Popped in my local for a swift one last night after they had played, sure enough not a one remained the place was deserted, the bar maid confirmed there had been a mass exodus of about 10 as the final whistle blew, and indeed several others had left well before the end looking very distressed.

Its getting silly now, I am having to go to Leighton Hospital at least twice a week to get my bollocks sown back on having laughed them off again.
Should see the fuckers in Winsford pn,or to be more precise you fucking don`t after a loss.Fucking loving it especially in my local as its a Dipper pub also,so the Rags get both barrels.

Apparently our quiet neighbours haven't won this season after playing in the EL (two defeats and a draw). That's what I'm reading on a forum over here in rag central anyway. Just saying, like.

here is a link for an old article about the success of the All Blacks rugby team that speaks of humility in a different way to mourinho...
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/men/acti...-guide-to-being-successful-off-the-field.html

In my opinion, having met a few of the all blacks fleetingly, the All Blacks culture of humility is (like so much about them and their image) completely manufactured and artificial. They love to sit around patting themselves on the back for being so humble, very rarely see much evidence of them showing any more humility than any other rugby players.

They haven't won many games full stop, so it could easily be a coincidence.
