Bear in mind it's very hard to play Griezmann and Pogba in the same team, as France have been finding out for the last year or 2.

Griezmann can't, or is wasted, leading the line on his own or playing on the wing, Pogba has to be in a midfield 3, as Mourinho has found out this season.

So the only formation which would work is a 532 or 352 similar to how Juventus played last year, with Griezmann essentially replacing Dybala.

In theory 532 with Pacey wide men bombing down the flanks, Ibrahimovic as the focal point with Griezmann playing off him and Pogba in a free role in midfield is absolutely terrifying - but then you remember that Mourinho will never play that, he'll try and force them into a 4231 or 433.

I don't think Griezmann will move this summer either. True, if they pay up the £86m then there's nothing Atletico can do, but Griezmann has suggested his future is tied to Simeone's, and simeone will stay for the new stadium Atletico are moving into next summer.

I think even Ducker, who is pushing Griezmann to United more than anyone else said there's also doubts about moving 1 year before a world cup, citing Pogba's decisions not to leave before Euro16.

Agree mate, that's why I stated 'mechanical' in terms of Maureen's set up, however, it will be one or the other in terms of big nose or Griezmann, not both..... This cash refund they owe Adidas should they fail to make the champs league will impact hugely on transfers next year, what pisses me off though is they'll more than likely get good money for Shaw, Martial, fellani!

I will piss myself if they sell Shaw & Martial. Especially Martial, as I think they've now ponied up £46m for him after his last goal, which triggered an extra £10m clause for Monaco.

As for the champions league, if I were them I'd be more worried about Everton.

Shaw £25mil?
Martial - £35mil?
Fellani - £10mil?

This talk of Griezman is all well and good but we he go to a Europa League team? Would Pogba want to stay or will he be off to Easy Street(PSG)?

Well that's a fucking lie

Liverpool have 3 points from 4 league game in 2017

United have 6 points from 4 league games

City have 7 points from 4 league games

Exactly and we're 4 points better off than the rags. That's what i'm saying.
How anyone can say we're no better off ?

If they get 70m for those 3 I'd be dancing the fandango

Pogba has shown his colours, literally, by waiting out the astronomical deal he got,'he's going nowhere mate!

Do you think those prices are too high? I think given their age, there is always someone ready to buy a United flop and the extra few quid they always seem to get for their player, the estimated prices won't be too far off

No mate, I'd say they're pretty reasonable, what I meant was that shaw, Martial were the second coming just over 12 months ago. People moan over Txiki but United have been far worse, IMO, over the last 2/3 years, yet it goes unnoticed.....

2 of those 3 are on astronomical wages unlike most of their sold on flops, they made Shaw the highest paid teenager in football when they signed him and Martial will be on big money too. So the usual suspects (Gollum, Allardici and Clueless) will have a very hard time convincing their bosses to sign off on both a decent fee and a matching wage - it's the same problem we had moving on the first wave of post takeover players.

I've read a quote from red cafe the other day saying Martial is a far better footballer than Sterling or Sane.

Whilst it's true that Mourinho successfully uses these tactics - and has done throughout his career - there's just something that doesn't seem right with him to me. As we know he is a manipulative shite, but he has a look about him... dead in the eyes almost, that makes me think something else is going on behind the scenes at the scum. It all seems to stem back to when they went on that bit of a 'run' after his last big strop about 'unfair' refereeing (yeah, fucking right), before then for Sky, Talkshite, BBC etc, etc it was love-in as usual with Peg... constant replaying of his press conferences – but after that point in time, you hardly heard the fucker's dulcet tones - anywhere... almost as if they'd had instruction not to give him the air time! It was also about that time rumours surfaced that Baconface was taking a more hands-on approach once again, visiting the changing rooms etc.
Personally, I think the level of power the Stretford Mafia have has seriously shook Maureen, and he's not a happy bunny (anyone seen him crack a smile since he took the devil's shilling?)... I seriously see him walking, maybe even before the season's out!
He's never been happy right from the start

Remember the photo of his signed contract on the day he was announced and then the miserable photos when they final got round to it

Starting in a hotel says a lot. Doesn't show commitment to his employer or his team

He looks depressed
