Just seen Valencia catch Gray on the follow through (okay, he did win the ball) at chest height. A yellow card at least for any other team, but not United, of course.

Peg likening Mata's tackle to Bravos on Rooney in the Derby.

Just fuck off.

Just what I was going to post, shocking wasn't it, he went for that comparison. This guy is fucking a certain football coulture from the very first day he walked into SB. And nobody seems to give a shit about it...

Then he is a bigger dick than i thought as he spent the next 3 months crying it was a red card!

Is he saying they got lucky today then?

On the contrary, he says it could perhaps be a doubtful decision (of which he's not sure, he wants to watch it on replay first and then comment), but it certainly does not equal the amount of wrong decisions that went against his team this season. Jose believes (nope, I'm lying, he's acting as if he believes) that United have been treated unfairly. And make no mistake about it, he hasn't forgotten the Bravo vs Rooney situation. I couldn't believe my ears when I heard him mentioning it in his interview...

The guy is low. Way low. But, as I said, nobody seems to bother. The media, public opinion etc, have accepted this behaviour as "natural" coming from him, years now. Completely beyond my understanding...

Ref was looking straight at the incident. If he didn't give the Pen he should have booked him for diving. He bought the contact by obstructing his opponent, then crumpled under the lightest of touches. It is cheating, pure and simple.
From Law 12 - Fouls and Misconduct "Impeding the progress of an opponent means moving into the opponent’s path to obstruct, block, slow down or force a change of direction when the ball is not within playing distance of either player". Now you could argue either way about how close the ball was to big nose, but at the point of contact, he'd let the ball get away from him.

Mata should have gone in todays game. If the Rag Taylor had given the correct decision "for a tackle or challenge that endangers the safety of an opponent or uses excessive force or brutality must be sanctioned as serious foul play" (Law 12 again); a straight red, then it would have been a completely different game.

Just seen Mata's foul. Completely out of control and could have caused serious damage. BBC 5 said he probably got a yellow because he's a nice guy didnt mean it. The reality is that he plays for United and bald bent referee supports Alrincham.
