Juve's figures published at the time suggested that. However, it fitted a number of posters' agenda to add it to the transfer fee and come up with £100m+.

Is Riggs to Wigan confirmed?

Interesting that "Swansea didn't match his ambitions" so he has settled for a club a few tiers lower.

Perhaps he wants to stay in Greater M/cr to be near his family.

I'd imagine Swansea 'not matching his ambitions' amounted to them not having a clause in his contract to let him fuck off back to the swamp at the first opportunity. Wigan are probably willing to put up with this so long as family man is prepared to listen to Whelan tell his fa cup/ leg story twice a day.

It's absolute bullshit. Imagine he's your manager at work. And imagine you're not that conscientious. How much piss would you take? The bloke is not a manager. He's just a sleazy boring **** who used to have tricky feet and a turn of pace.

Quite possibly, although difficult to see him getting the call back to the swamp, even when The Translator goes tits up. We can only hope...
 
Yep. I'm hoping for a rag version of the Liverpool 'boot room' with the class of '92 wankers getting half a season each until they are non-league and the Glazers decides to cash in and build an out of town retail park at the swamp. I'd fucking love to see that place bulldozed and turned into a halfords/B&Q/Morrison's.

Its only 2 hours on virgin trains, and I'm sure he could manage first class if I can.
