We were only 'ickle Citeh " then, so that doesn't count! ;-)
No, the Imabignosedbitch signing was regarded by the majority of pundits and hacks as the best of the summer, and they're the only ones whose opinions matter. Unfortunately, several contributors on this forum were taken in by the hype, saying he was going to get 20 goals a season. We'll see, but it ain't looking promising atm.
I wouldn't write him off too soon. Aguero just went 6 games without a goal. In the matches I've seen, Ibrahimovic has still looked dangerous.

Has PEG turned up there just to get a payout? Is he going to live out of the Lowry hotel for 4 years? I think he might just be taking them for a ride for a very large payout just after Christmas.
The self-styled special one looks embarrassed and distinctly uncomfortable.

"Zlatan looks more of a threat but aside from Mata and Pogba on rare occasions we don't have any other consistent goalscorers in the forwards."

This is from their Fellaini as striker thread. Since when was Pogba a consistent goal scorer? Certainly not while he's been playing for them.

He wasn't at Juventus either was he ?

I don't want to make light of mental illness but if I was Edward Woodward, I'd be taking the laces out of mourinhos shoes and removing his belt, start padding his office out, cos he looks like he's losing the plot. His whole demeanour and behaviour would worry me if I was a rag fan, he's falling apart emotionally, he's a control freak and he's struggling to be in control of anything(players, media, officials)

Somehow I still think they would make a late surge for top 4 because on paper, their squad seems too good not to make it to top 4 but as we've seen with Liverpool, football isn't played on paper. Its about teamwork and cohesion. Hope they keep dropping points and Spurs keep and the rest keep racking up more points.

I personally think the PEG needs a bit longer at the Rags - sure he's unhinged but he can create havoc over the next 12 months - hopefully he will go on to undermine the whole fabric of the club that it will take them years to recover from. I think a couple more bad results and he will turn on the players and the playing staff - lovely. Meanwhile the family man sits in the sidelines - oh yes please.

100% this. PEG has more to give before the prodigal sister shagger returns. It would be sad if peg went too quickly, as I'm hoping between him and Briggs they'll be managing the scum for four seasons paving the way for fat Sam or the rest of the ****s of '92

he's looking a broken man, things not working out and seperated from his family only means one thing, he'l be sat in that hotel day after day as if its a prison cell chewing over how its all gone tits up,,the rot would have set in already with the pisscan and the tout sat in that stand every week monitoring his decisions, sadly i think he'l do a runner around xmas and put it down to family problems and he will disapear off into the night clutching a pay off cheque,,united's problems have only just started, who do they apoint after him or more to the point who would be daft enough to take the job, its a poisoned chalice situation with the old guard watching like hawkes who ever takes over, no one will or can ever match whiskey's 20 odd years so due to that they will be deemed a failure by default

Come on...be honest. When GPC retired we all said they'd struggle. Did any of us expect it to have gone to pot so quickly. To contemplate where we are as a club versus them, compared to 5 years ago, is surely beyond anyone's realistic expectations?
I don't think anyone realised that he ran the club from top too bottom and wasn't just the manager.
Utd hadn't put any infrastructure in place for when he quit the team was winning and sponsorship was rolling in

Never mind the behind the scenes issues, they could have serious on field problems in the summer
Ibrahimovic is on a one year deal so they will need a new striker, Rooney is past it, all of their defenders need replacing and De Gea will be off if/when they miss out on the Champions League again

I think people are working of Ibrahimovic a bit early. The bloke is still getting in the right places to score, the ball just isn't going in. Hero be wondering how the fuck he didn't show at the death yesterday.

What's going on with the lad Rashford? Does Mourinho just not fancy him up front?

It's all fun though isn't it.
