Seemed strange to me that Pogba came off with a 'dead leg' - it's looked like he's been playing with dead legs since they signed him.
£89M my arse.
Another thought, haven't the majority of PEG's 'first 11' played in nearly all the games lately? They must be paying a price for not having taken the opportunity to rest a few more of them against our reserves last week. Pep did the right thing in resting some of ours - it's paid dividends already, and will continue to do so as we play less games in the heavy post Christmas period.

The whole Martial thing is flying under the radar as we are still pissing our sides over what they paid for Pogba. We got pelters for what we paid for Sterling but the money is now looking like money well spent, Martial cost a lot of money and has been a one season wonder. Even the Deschamps doesn't want him near the national team in favour of Giroud, which shows how far his over inflated stock has fallen.
 
The Welsh sausage boy complained about the performance on THURSDAY NIGHT then told the world that 6 players,all midfielders n forwards, played well or had a good game. Also, his appearance could do with a tidy up. I believe this is the only reason he isn't sat alongside Thomson, Merson and Stelling on Saturday afternoons. I'd watch it.

Spot-on! Under Fergie or the old Mou, they would have won a game yet they are all creaming and Mou being hailed as a "tactical genius" for getting a goalless draw at Pool lol.

Well, that's if they can shift 'em! I see a lot of Adebayor type deals on the horizon meaning the rags aren't offloafing their liabilities, just stacking more from the addition of each new player.

Either that or they're gonna have to pay everyone off as has been suggested with Schweinsteiger. (a 10m dollop on its own.)
Could be they have to spend the equivalent of another 'worldy' just to make this happen?

Then they'll be looking for replacements - I hear they want to trigger the 30m clause for Godin from Athletico in Jan.

Is this that start of it? The motherload? The massive overreach that burdens them with a new ton of galacticos and ill will, which when it all goes pear shaped, will hamstring them for years to come?

I genuinely think this is Peg's big gamble - he sees the state of the squad and its trajectory and realises that he has to capitalise on what's left of their club's status before they become untouchable to any top players.

I have one thing to say in relation to their desperation:

NOW HEAR THIS, AND HEAR IT GOOD, LADIES, GENTLEMEN, CLUBS AND AGENTS...

If they want 8 players gone in Jan what 8 players will they get in that will improve them? No team will sell if they are still competing in Europe or a domestic league. The implosion at United has been delicious, we all knew big nose would flop and Pogba doesn't have players like Vidal,Pirlo and Tevez round him to help him flourish like he did at Juve.

Drink it in folks let's hope they have a Chicago Cubs style billy goat curse put on them. Maybe the curse of the fake bomb in the bogs.

Certainly did - delusions of grandeur run all the way through this rancid set up.

Now if they did awards for :- shit hair -styles , silly goal ( obviously not used much ) celebrations , flash cars ( ala Memphis Dopey ), selfies , then they would really be up at the top of the Carling tree.
 
zlatan is world class and will tear up the league this season for sure. mark my words he will get 25 league goals this season.
