There is an element that he's too toxic and associated with Real to go to Spain, Bayern have more sense, and nowhere else can afford him. All the other top PL sides had plans laid down, so he had no real options.
Don't think any of the other top PL sides would touch him anyway, Soriano has stated he doesn't view him as a good choice of manager, he wouldn't work under the financial constraints at Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs and he's seemingly thoroughly burned his bridges at Chelsea. The truth of it is he's spent his career in the game making enemies and pissing people off and he was always going to run out of options the second his results took a nosedive. He's an easy manager to sack.

That too, I agree.

I think they'll spend a lot of time on the phone to their pet reporters this summer, Griezmann and a few other big names will be agreeing personal terms several times a day.
Fixed.
If they don't make top four then it'd be hilarious but would also burn a huge hole in their pocket.
It'll burn a hole in their pocket regardless of personnel decisions - huge cut to the Adidas deal along with any other sponsorship deal where they had to negotiate with someone with half a brain along with missing out on a potential 70m in cash from the comp alone and the drop in merch sales etc that the loss of prestige will bring.

Then you've the personnel aspect of it - they'll have to overbid other teams for targets to make sure they're cutting down the players options and offer higher wages than they would otherwise even if they don't get rid of the coach and have to start (yet another) rebuild.

He's trying to divert the bullshit we get from the media and officials..

The ****s get away with it week in week out...

Stop it...I'm welling up here!

Lads, lets be honest here.

We need to get our own house in order and focus on our own game.

We look vastly improved recently and I expect us to finish in the top 4.

But let's look at it. We'd love them outside of it. Dippers too.

Dippers for comic value, but united will be well and truly screwed without top 4.

Let's enjoy watching our lads storm up the table in the weeks ahead of April and hopefully by the time we get to the shitty April run it wont be any concern of ours and we can laugh as the rags struggle even with the refs and sky doing their best. I would love it if it came to a 3 horse race for 4 with any other team and both rags and dippers lost out.

But....we're no better right now, so let's hope this improvement remains through the next 8 weeks.

The referee gave a free out for the trip on Huddlestone rather than book him for the dive, fairly cowardly behaviour.
Its a nonsense, that is as clear a case for the call for retrospective action to be taken. And to hear that arrogant twat whinging he,and his mercenaries, are hard done by.......fucking lol.

The FA need to have a serious look at their disiplinary procedures and codes.

They've got the spirit of Swales over there. Finally in death he gets to fuck them up.
:)

They don't apply to United do they ?

First time i've seen that, its disgraceful behaviour,i take it he received no card?

Dont be silly.

Dermot has done his ref watch today and its mentioned but he only goes as far as saying correct decision, no penalty and wont say the diving cheating **** should have got a yellow card.

I wonder why that is?
