I'll probably get pelters for this but I kind of agree. Possession is great but you do have to do something with it. Your lot seldom threatened - we need to sort our defence out overall you need to do something to actually come out of defence. Maureen can draw every game and you are unlikely to go down but is that the future?
I don't see any 'foundation' being built at United though, in contrast to where we're headed.

You really didn't come to play on the counter. You came to defend, then if Rashford managed to single handedly create a counter from one of your aimless hoofs forwards, then terrific. Teams playing on the counter don't use their wingers as extra fullbacks and leave one player on his own to chase aimless clearances. We play against a lot of teams who sit back and hope their loan striker manages to get them something on the break, but you guys were probably the most negative we've played against all season, which is saying something. Yes we did. And it was working for a while but the issue was in midfield, for all the boring criticism Pogba receives you can see the difference without him as there is no connection to the forwards. Sorry but you are wrong and cannot class these two teams as being in the same boat.....not on tonight's game.
One team...City..are not that far off where they need to be and it is clear what is needed in the summer. United, however, are a long way off after seeing tonight's performance. I am sure that all sensible United fans, of which there are many, must feel sick tonight to have witnessed such a poor display by their team and be so totally dominated by another team. It reminded me of playing a second division side who just did not have the ability to retain any kind of possession.
With Mourinho in charge you may well achieve success but it's not gonna be pretty to watch I'm afraid.

Face it, your team was fucking shocking, came for a point, no intention of trying to win it, when maureen was at chelski, and allardyce did that in one game, he called it 18th century football, that's where you are at.
