Without wanting to fire a cheap dig at them, that was the least ambitious team i have ever seen play against us. Staggering really considering money spent and what they are fighting for.

Everyone behind the ball, and only tactic was a huge HOOF forward, hoping for a lucky knockdown and break. Everytime their defence got the ball, you could see them immediately shaping to leather it. Not even looking for a pass. Very odd. Did Willy touch the ball in the 2nd half?

Reds are still a bit cocky about a 'masterclass', but deep down, it must be sinking in...

Yes we did. And it was working for a while but the issue was in midfield, for all the boring criticism Pogba receives you can see the difference without him as there is no connection to the forwards. As a result Martial and Mkhitaryan ended up getting pushed back.

Mkhitaryan is a centre mid. He's spent most of his career in a midfield 3.
Your manager doesn't play him in his best position.
That wasn't tactics last night, it was no different to what Sutton United did vs Arsenal.

The man managing you is all about himself, he's not interested in United, his player or fans. You've only got 18 months before the players lose belief in him and things impload!

Oh and it wasn't working, we hit the post after 9 minutes. As most posters have said, Rashford's pace created the odd slight opening. Which was so easy to cut out even for our pretty shaky defence.

Only one way that team of mercenaries are going with the 'pragmatist' in charge.Their supporters can pretend all they want, but not for one minute can i imagine they are content with what they are currently watching or what they can expect from the immediate future.

It's a really strange one. I was talking to a mate of mine, multi millionaire, decent footballer in his day and he's had a season ticket there for 20 years plus.
He was saying he'd play Martial & Rashford off A&E.
I asked him if he was taking the piss, he wasn't and looked surprised at my reaction.

They really do get brainwashed, even the most knowledgeable of them. It's bizarre.
They would laugh if Pullis did what they did!

I can relate to that totally.I was brought up,and live in Salford, the vast majority of my mates are real, home and away,rags.......they are very knowledgeable and reasonable football supporters, and yet they have fully signed up for everything they have previously criticised and despised, including their manager - its truly confusing and odd.

It reminded me of pretty much every Derby in the 90's, but the other way round. Of course, we didn't have the most expensive squad ever assembled back then.
It reminded me of that they have landed a manager who is not averse to polishing his ego ahead of all other priorities.

It will end in tears, he seems to have them playing for him now, but it won't last.

The billion pound cowards,
Cowards from the manager to the players , to hee cowardice football.

I saw Utd supporters doing aeroplane gestures in their end , could somebody explain that.

it will indeed not last, but let's hope for a slow and painful end, eh.
it makes for great viewing watching him drag the rags down even further into deep hypocrisy.

his ego was fatally bruised at chelsea.
his eyes give him away, they are the gateway to our souls.
he is becoming a pathetic shadow of his former self.

a masterclass from jose and city was poor yes that's right the media this morning in polishing that turd they even use a line that aguero was out of order for faking the headbutt hahahahaha forgetting Fellaini was a dick and he was going to get sent off anyway for the 2nd yellow so made it worst with the headbutt and i think is was dirty from Fellaini so why question aguero

yes pep could have change it up earlier but when jesus took a knock and went down my heart stopped but boy that lad changes the game when he comes on and next season we are going to have a legend and the premier league will not know whats going to hit them

Are we all discussing how shit United are then, whilst they are one point behind us and we couldn't manage to beat? Obviously they was very negative and shite to watch but we have to look at ourselves that we cant put a team like that away.
