How the mighty have fallen. Embarrassing performance.
Yes we did. And it was working for a while but the issue was in midfield, for all the boring criticism Pogba receives you can see the difference without him as there is no connection to the forwards. As a result Martial and Mkhitaryan ended up getting pushed back.
Only one way that team of mercenaries are going with the 'pragmatist' in charge.Their supporters can pretend all they want, but not for one minute can i imagine they are content with what they are currently watching or what they can expect from the immediate future.
I can relate to that totally.I was brought up,and live in Salford, the vast majority of my mates are real, home and away,rags.......they are very knowledgeable and reasonable football supporters, and yet they have fully signed up for everything they have previously criticised and despised, including their manager - its truly confusing and odd. It's a really strange one. I was talking to a mate of mine, multi millionaire, decent footballer in his day and he's had a season ticket there for 20 years plus.
He was saying he'd play Martial & Rashford off A&E.
I asked him if he was taking the piss, he wasn't and looked surprised at my reaction.
They really do get brainwashed, even the most knowledgeable of them. It's bizarre.
They would laugh if Pullis did what they did!
It reminded me of that they have landed a manager who is not averse to polishing his ego ahead of all other priorities. It reminded me of pretty much every Derby in the 90's, but the other way round. Of course, we didn't have the most expensive squad ever assembled back then.

It will end in tears, he seems to have them playing for him now, but it won't last.
