He'd be incredible if he was in our team. But he has fuck all options playing for that turgid manager. He's shit because Mourinho is the sort of coach who would have Messi spend all week working on defensive positioning.

It is two different arguments and is scary how some can't see it. If it is about entertainment and footballing styles I would rather watch us all day every day. If at the start of the season you was given these two options then I would imagine 99% of people would say yeah I'd take two cups and a CL position over no trophies and 3rd at best.

They won't be able to finish sixth and take a CL position next year though as they won't be in the European equivalent of the Autoglass Trophy.
