Eurosport took the time to collate some of United's season highlights.

– Sixth will be United’s second lowest finish in Premier League history (after the 2013-14 season)

– A maximum tally of 69 points will be the club’s second lowest in PL history (After David Moyes’ 13/14 season)

– Only Louis van Gaal’s side of last season have scored fewer goals in a season than this United’s tally of 52.

– Old Trafford has seen just seven wins this season – fewer than relegated Hull City managed at the KCOM Stadium (eight home wins).

– United have scored just 24 home goals this season. Even relegated Hull scored more at home.

and should have been a lot lot worse if it wasnt for the refs

Just been looking at the league table and Bournemouth have scored more goals than Utd. No disrespect to Bournemouth, but for what Utd have spent in comparison, that's poor.

It's only triggered if they miss two years in a row.

The finance guy said to the investors this week it's roughly 20M, spread over the remaining years of the contract.

Yes, I read that as well and there was a picture of the executive with the article
