The "EVEN better" part implies a trend and suggests they'll finish 7th:Just spotted on the MuEN City web page "Man Utd will be EVEN better next season" - probably aiming for fifth spot then after spending a further 2-300million!!

2015/16 - 5th
2016/17 - 6th
If 2016/17 was better with 6th, even better would be 7th.

Medical science is advancing all the time, so I'll take my chances on hopefully witnessing a slow lingering slide into oblivion and irrelevance, but each to their own.Since I don't plan on living another 87 years, I hope the rate of improvement can accelerate.
