Was thinking exactly the same thing this week. Total farcical scattergun approach. No actual gameplan in terms of who they want to get with a style of football they want to play, just lets try and get him, get snubbed then try and go and get a totally different style of player

Also Morata, anyone else think the rags are getting their arses rinsed by bidding 60m for a striker who hasnt scored over 15 league goals in a top flight league season?

I think he'll be good for them.

It should be expected that they'll pay way over the top for everyone they're in for. As much as we have a City-Tax they have an even bigger Utd-Tax given that ....
1. the selling clubs know that they are in dire need and loaded
2. the players they're after need to be convinced by huge wages.

But it should also be expected that they'll get a good few very good players.

I'd be very surprised if they aren't serious contenders next season. They may play shit but they'll get the results to be in there at the end I think.

We just need to be far better than anyone else. :-)
