You may be right re: publicity but I've been watching football for nearly 60 years now and he is the best player I have seen from these islands.

He may not be up in the Pele, Messi Maradona bracket but he's not far off.
I saw him on the way down and it was not good.
In the end he was playing with rubbish clubs on a pay for play basis and a fill in on tv chat shows.

You missed Garrincha & Van Hanegem out there.

It's true Best didn't turn up in the Derbies but he was one brilliant player.
