United (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Wonderful stuff, almost slightly disappointed in truth that it wasn't a couple more really! As all those 'really knowledgeable '(!!)people on the matchay thread pointed out, just imagine if we had a really decent centre foward instead of the out of form one we do have!!!
Listened on the official website, thoroughly enjoyed that. Don't generally listen to Radio 5 live but I'm enjoying the postmortem on there being carried out now!

We dismantled them in a patient, coldblooded, brutal fashion. Pep set us up to be solid at the back, solid & creative in midfield & dangerous upfront, where in games gone by he'd set us up to attack, leaving us vulnerable on the counter. Today we just strangled the life out of them over 90 minutes.

Bernardo reigned supreme, & Super Jack is properly back, continuing from his superb display at Young Boys.

The Viking should've had a hat-trick, but I ain't complaining with the two he got.

The build up for Foden's goal was a thing of beauty, so much so, the Red Rat started losing his nut, & the ill-discipline spread throughout the Rags.

Still not back to our very best, but this display is us getting back to that level.

Being able to bring on Doku is frightening.

Antony is a fuckin little twat & I hope Doku nuts him on the snide in the tunnel.

We've a week off before Bournemouth, so it's a great way to end two tough CL & PL away matches.

Well done City.
Absolutely schooled them twats today.
would like to know how many passes in the build up to Fodens goal.

utd were embarrassing, no football played, hoofball with runners, their players in the refs ear all game & then they completely lost their heads & showed how petulant & humiliated they were.
There’s an enormous gulf between the teams & the whole football world saw it today.
