United (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Bernardo was all over the place today tbf he did put a fair shift in.

Semenyo isn't going to tear it up every game he plays but I do like the look of him so far.
I haven't seen that much from him yet. Didn't do that much in the last league match but got away with it because he scored. He'll find it a lot tougher playing against a 10 man defence every week.

Not really match related but find it mad that 3 of the biggest city fans sold out to sky to not watch a derby and just sit in a box until the final score was announced to them

Pep and Bernardo saying the rags had more energy. Why?? What the hell do we do in training?

I can take a loss but from the kick off they played like they'd lost already.

I think it's also time to ask if Foden should be largely a substitute or sold and someone much more consistent brought in instead?
He went missing today that’s for sure

Ok we played shite today( it’s a derby anything can happen) but call for pep’s head is the most stupid things I read in the first texts on page one. We wouldn’t be where we are now without his management. Still in 3 cup competitions plus the chumps lg ffs.

Lewis on a throw in today . Gave it up to them and from the throw in they then attack us. Little passage’s of play like this wasn’t good. Be careful with the ball possess it like we own it.that’s pep mentality. He will iron this out for sure.

Got home at 4pm
Dont really want to go into it but that waa the worst performance, derby or not, I have witnessed for a long long time.
Embarassing.
It's easy to move on from it for me because we were fucking shit and got EXACTLY what we deserved. Nothing.
Move on.

Foot note. Gigi was immense today and Khisa was up for the fight. Otherwise fuck all.

We played against Newcastle midweek, which was a big effort. They’ve had fuck all to do all week, coupled with new manager bounce, afcon players back and majority of their injured making a miraculous recovery.

Looking at the team sheet I feared the worst and got exactly what we deserved.

Now if Dalot got sent off, this would of changed the game, playing the majority of the match against 10 men and give us a huge lift.

Onwards and upwards, keep the faith
Last 3 league games have been quite taxing to be fair, not every week we come up against sides that battle like Sunderland did and the following 2 matches were tricky too.

I would have like to have seen Doku take Dalot on though, even if he lost the ball a few times. Dalot's not that quick and would have caught him again sooner or later. Typical he gets away with a red card in this match, any other match he'd have probably gone.
