Got home at 4pm
Dont really want to go into it but that waa the worst performance, derby or not, I have witnessed for a long long time.
Embarassing.
It's easy to move on from it for me because we were fucking shit and got EXACTLY what we deserved. Nothing.
Move on.
Yes, none on.

Yes I agree he been inconsistent for a while that combined with our striker the same it’s worrying!
What’s also worrying is where did that rag performance come from hope they don’t keep that up
Of course they won't keep it up. This game is all they had left to play for this season. We knew they'd be up for it, we knew they'd be flying into us, we knew they'd play on the counter and we knew the officials would be giving the rags a helping hand along the way.

But we still did........whatever it was we did. Half hearted. Tactics all wrong. Not being able to adapt and change what we were doing during the game. An absolute disaster class.

Hopefully Pep, the coaching staff and the players are in at 8am tomorrow and analyse from top to bottom what happened today and what needs to be done to ensure it doesn't happen again this season.

I'd maybe let Donnarumma have tomorrow off though. But sod the rest of them.

Not really match related but find it mad that 3 of the biggest city fans sold out to sky to not watch a derby and just sit in a box until the final score was announced to them
Biggest city fans? By whose reckoning? Pathetic choice. I’d call em fame hungry narcissists myself. Cunts.

Lewis on a throw in today . Gave it up to them and from the throw in they then attack us. Little passage’s of play like this wasn’t good. Be careful with the ball possess it like we own it.that’s pep mentality. He will iron this out for sure.
We’ve been dreadful at throw ins for years, the Cerki free kick leading to their 1st goal, suddenly 4 v 2 for them , scarily poor that

Injuries, tired legs, a patched-up back four, away from home, new faces, kids, derby debutants, midweek trip, Rodri not quite on fire, early kickoff, striker still in Africa, flu in the camp.

Home advantage, new manager bounce, players back, a full week’s rest, striker back from Africa, VAR… you knew how this was going.

Shit happens. Up the fucking Blues.

They hit the post twice, had 3 goals disallowed, scored 2 an Donnarumma made a few good saves. We were hammered!
Possibly the worst Derby performance since we had Simon Tracey in net when they beat us 5-0 in the 90s
It brought back some pretty vivid memories from that one - I must have only been 10 or 11

I’ve hesitated to say this but here goes.
From the minute I watched that interview with Phil Foden before the game I was concerned.
His demeanour and body language was so lack lustre and, dare I say, bored and couldn’t care less that I pondered. He was not up for that game, not really interested.
I am not blaming anything/everything on him just concerned that if he wasn’t bothered had it rubbed off on others?
Sorry, you know I don’t criticise our players but this is more concern than criticism.
Is something happening behind the scenes that we are not aware of?

JMHO

Pep’s tactics and playing style is the problem. We have all the tools to beat anyone, but passing the ball from side to side at walking pace isn’t the way forward. The number of times we were in trouble today with a long ball played over the night line wasn’t acceptable.
Donna, poor finishing and the offside line stopped us being well embarrassed.

Pathetic. Not been as livid at a performance in years. There is one thing I cannot tolerate and that's a lack of fight. Its a derby and we shown nothing, to get outfought for 90 minutes against that shower is embarrassing. I've said for a long time we often play like the opposition arent allowed to make physical contact, we always seem utterly shocked when somebody actually puts in a challenge but we never look like that in a derby, until today.

Peps got to take the blame for diabolical tactics that lost us the game but it's on the players to show some fucking fight and desire. Other than Bernardo we had none. We are lucky that they are shit and it was "only" 2-0 and our title chances gone. That could have been their 6-1 but for them being utterly shite and some donnarumma/khusanov heroics.

The blad lad I’m sure was on with the Arsenal fan having a debate saying he never misses a game home or away which I’m sure he does. But to fuck the derby off so sky can just have a little show on the side is a bit hypocritical

Ok we played shite today( it’s a derby anything can happen) but call for pep’s head is the most stupid things I read in the first texts on page one. We wouldn’t be where we are now without his management. Still in 3 cup competitions plus the chumps lg ffs.
But when was the last time we won a truly big game against a top side

So how long foden going to keep playing like shit until we sell him.

Two shit season back to back for him now.
For fuck's sake!

Give the lad a break. He, like practically every member of the squad was mentally and physically exhausted last season, after Four In A Row and everything they’ve done.

And at the moment, he’s suffering from a dip in form. It’s not that long ago that he was absolutely flying.

There are too many spoilt brats on here.

I will still say though:

MANCHESTER CITY THE BEST TEAM IN THE LAND AND ALL THE WORLD.

If the Nunes rumours are true, then I think we can excuse that performance mate.

Thought Steve and Danny were better than that
Big time I’ve always said it from the start when the specks scouser used to do it from in the ground then all of a sudden it’s in a studio once they see the £ signs they turned their back
